It was not good. The room was completely out dated. There was actually human waste stains under toilet seat. Dead roach in shower. A/C that couldn't be controlled. Pillow cases stained but still being used. I do have photos of the dead bug and toilet seat. I was uncomfortable and hardly slept in the bed that could have been 20 years old.
We were satisfied with our visit - the woman at the desk was so helpful and met our needs quickly. By my comments she realized we needed a special place to park our very large truck and gave us a room in a place where there was room for our truck. At nearly 2am we were very grateful for her kindness and friendliness as well as listening enough to hear our needs with only the smallest comment on what those were. The room was clean and comfortable and we slept well. That said, it's time to update your rooms. We stayed in other Motel 6s on our journey and they were much more up to date than this one - perhaps it's time for an update here. : ) We would return here regardless of updates, it was a very nice place, just dated.
The room was very clean and comfortable, albeit outdated. I felt safe and accommodated here. I always enjoy my stays at motel 6. It could really use a modern update, though. But, if I know of anyone passing through Grants I'll be sure to recommend this location for a cheap, comfortable night's rest.
The room smelled dirty. The shower had hair in it. I slept in my sleeping bag fearing other parts of the room we're dirty also. On the plus side the other guests were considerate and quiet which is rare when travelling. The price was reasonable at around $50.
Amazing price! We were able to book late at night while driving into town. Friendly customer service over the phone. Pet friendly, with no charge. Great nights sleep and great shower. Only issue was the thin walls where we could hear people outside, and no one was quiet. We turned on a sound machine and drowned them out. Made for a much better sleep. Great option for a quick nights stay!
