The rooms are clean and spacious! Love that they include a delicious hot breakfast cooked by a chef! Can't wait to order from the menu.
The room itself was so so. Earlier in our trip, we stayed at another Comfort Inn, and it was much much better than this one.
Nice breakfast with blueberry waffles as well. Staff was nice. Pool was nice. Room was clean. Some wear on carpet and walls. But overall good hotel for the price.
Prices on the room are very reasonable. The indoor pool and hot tub are surrounded by plants... It looks very inviting.
Really nice place, clean, good beds. The problem was the front desk girl. Stayed two times in two weeks, and she was grouchy, no smiles, no thanks for staying, just grouchy. Sad to ruin such a nice stay with a uninviting reception.
The front desk clerk quoted me $74 but said he was having a hard time charging my card because of his computer system. He said that if it did not go through he would leave a note under my door so we could settle it. Then he originally put us on the second floor facing the back and later decided to change it so we could face our car. That right there causes a little bit of concern. Whatever, we were tired, the rate was cheap and he was putting us on the side where we could see the car. We entered in the building and looked all over for the elevator. I think this building doesn't have one. So we dragged our luggage and cooler up the stairs. In the morning we had a receipt and the charge was for $89, not the quoted $74. We were in a hurry, so there was no time to argue with the front desk. I called back later in the week, and the person answering was no help and she stated the manager was not around until a later date. I basically gave up because at what point do I spend all my time fighting for it? The quoted $74 did sound too good to be true.
We noticed much of the hotels in the area were booked, so really we had little choice in the matter, but we'll have to try something else in this situation.
The ice machine on the second floor was broken, but that's a good thing since there was no elevator. Better to fill up the cooler when we don't have to lug it down the stairs.
Horrible experience. Blood on shower curtain. When I called and asked for it to be replaced they said 30min. No one came, I called and asked to be moved. Moved me to a room with a broken shower. Took shower curtain and went back to the first room. I changed the curtain because no one would do anything to help. Horrible service! Hair on bathroom floors. Gross! Horrible service and dirty make for a never return!!!!!
The trash cans near the lobby were full at night and still full around 8am in the morning.
