In conclusion don't eat here, wait the extra hour. We both feel ill and can't wait till we pass this food out of our system.
So we decided we could not wait the extra hour and half to Albuquerque. So we chose the lesser of all evils KFC. We wanted to make this a quick stop since we still have a ways to go. Went to drive thru and that was moving slow. Backed the car up and went inside, where we found a line of some five customers.
This KFC needs major work, they need to teach employees how to set the fountain drinks up, make the breading of the chicken and how to handle high volume of clientele.
Service was terrible. Only one cashier at the register. Cashier was doing everyone else's job. Left the register after every order. Highly recommend to not dine in at this establishment.
Bad food be warned!
After all that time, our turn. I order an original three piece box. Requesting two legs and a breast and to supplement the cole slaw with mac and cheese. We also ordered chicken strips with potato wedges.
I got my beverage and the Pepsi didn't taste right... it tasted flat swapped it for fruit punch. I know it would be going bad from that point forward. Got my chicken and that was not the original recipe. It was not crispy either it was more of a mixture of both yet burned. Same with the chicken strips... the mac and cheese was not right either!
I pull up at 8:20 p.m. 40 minutes before closing time order a 9 Piece bucket. Kid tells me I have to check and see if I have it. Have what I asked. He said the chicken because we're closing soon. Really 40 minutes to tell clothes and you can't come up with nine pieces of chicken.
Standard kfc. The people were real nice. Nice stop for good from our long road trip.
Fresh food. Employees were friendly and efficient.
The supervisor informed me that normally they don't serve two legs with one breast with the original. That's only with crispy flavor... wrong answer buddy! The Colonel is probably kicking the supervisors ass from his grave.
Inside we found five tireless employees working proficient. The supervisor who was running the register was so concerned about the line. I could see the dispersion on his face.
